In one of his most memorable on-court showings, Rodman stumbled out of bounds and fell on top of TV operator Eugene Amos during a game against the Timberwolves in 1997. Rodman then kicked Amos in the groin, requiring the cameraman to be taken away by stretcher. Rodman was suspended 11 games without pay and ended up paying Amos a $200,000 settlement.

Most guests on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" opt for chic and sophisticated garb. Rodman opted for a leather slit skirt and gothic overcoat for his appearance in '97.

Leno presented Rodman with a pair of high-heeled basketball shoes during the taping. "The Worm" autographed the kicks and handed them to a woman in the front row.

Describing this hairstyle as "colorful" seems like an understatement.

In 1997, Rodman starred alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in the film Double Team. Rodman won three Razzies for his performance: worst supporting actor, worst new star and worst couple, with Van Damme.

In his first professional wrestling match, WCW's "Bash at the Beach", Rodman is held in a choke-hold by The Giant (aka Big Show/Paul Wight). Rodman's team, with Hulk Hogan and Randy "Macho Man" Savage, conceded to Lex Luger and The Giant. Tough break.
