Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer made a young of his rivals very happy on Wednesday.

One day after taking the loss in Washington’s loss to the Mets, Scherzer took some time before a game to play catch with a young Mets fan seated in the outfield.

The kid probaby won’t switch his allegiances, but it’s totally cool if he wants to root for Scherzer against the other 28 teams.
