Pokémon GO has turned us into zombies.

Check out this footage from Central Park in New York City on Sunday. I count at least eight people absolutely glued to their phones, and three clearly walking around for a squirtle.

This is actually stunning. You couldn’t get these folks to look up if you told them they were about to walk across a pit of hot coals, which they would likely do just to toss a Pokéball.

How long will it be until I have to stop bumping into mindless Pokémon GO players while walking to work?
