Indians designated hitter Carlos Santana really loves manager Terry Francona, and he can prove it to you.

Santana and Francona shared a rather romantic moment before Monday night’s game against the Royals. The slugger kissed his skipper’s bald head, and Tito reciprocated by kissing Santana’s bat for good luck.

This is no shock—we know the Indians are masters at rituals. The team performed a sacrifice to Jobu for Yan Gomes this weekend.

At 54–38, Cleveland is on top of the AL Central by 5 1/2 games over the Tigers. Francona sure does deserve a kiss on the head for that.
