Is the Twins’ scoreboard breaking trades?

It got weird up there in Minnesota on Thursday when the Twins’ scoreboard appeared to...break several trade deadline deals.
What? Huh?
SB Nation Twins site Twinkie Town did some layman’s work on Thursday, reporting that the scoreboard was indicating that...Carlos Beltran had been traded to the Indians.
And that Will Smith had gone from the Brewers to the Mets.

What? Huh? MLB beat writers squirmed for a hot second.
Twins beat reporter Rhett Bollinger spared everyone the confusion shortly after.
Mystery solved. No trades. It was scrolling potential trade partners based on this article: https://t.co/OKqcI2Cc1R https://t.co/55nzZwgL5V

Alas, no. The trades were aggregated without proper attribution (a cardinal sin on the internet and IRL IMO LOL) from this MLB.com hypothetical story suggesting ideas as the deadline approaches.
UPDATE: On Friday night, the Indians' scoreboard mocked the Twins scoreboard with their own update.

Stay woke. RIP the Twins' scoreboard’s journalism career.
