Monday's A.M. Hot Clicks: Sunny Fae; Alex Rodriguez and His Centaur

So Long, A-Rod

Alex Rodriguez has left the building. After 22 seasons, 3,113 hits and 696 home runs, A-Rod announced his retirement, with his last game coming this Friday. Good effort by my pal Ted Keith to make him sound likable but he'll always be the guy who hijacked the 2007 World Series and lied on 60 Minutes about PED use. Here's a look at his most embarrassing moments (and yes, a Centaur is included).

Olympics Round-Up

Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky had a very good day in Rio on Sunday ... U.S. Swimmer Ellie King called out a Russian swimmer for "drug cheating," and that's not even the best swimming PED rivalry story from the weekend ... Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski brought a lot of clothes to Rio ... Klay Thompson and Jimmy Butler showed off their football skills ... What are those weird spots on some athlete's bodies? ... Here's the medal count after two days ... Emily Ratajkowski is one reason to cheer for the U.S. squad.

WWE vs. Conor McGregor

It all started with a simple conference call question by SI's Justin Barrasso to Conor McGregor about performing in the WWE. McGregor answered by insulting the entire WWE locker room. They responded exactly as you'd expect a bunch of pro wrestlers to respond when threatened by someone half their size.

Sunny Fae: Lovely Lady of the Day

Sunny Fae is another model I've never featured before and who is long overdue. She is today's LLOD (click for full-size gallery).

NFL Screws Up

The NFL's annual Hall of Fame Game was canceled due to unsafe playing conditions. NFL players then went on Twitter to discuss this turn of events.

Congrats, Ichiro

Ichiro Suzuki reached 3,000 career hits and can thank Barry Bonds (of all people) for helping reach the milestone. I recommend reading this 2002 SI profile of Ichiro during his early days with the Mariners. It's worth 10 minutes of your time.

The Girl of a Thousand Faces

This is both really cool and really freaky. More freaky than cool though.

Odds & Ends

Fans in Cincinnati have started a petition to change the Bengals team name ... Sidney Crosby showed up unannounced at a fan's house to sign autographs ... The entire Russian team has been banned from the Paralympics in Rio ... An oral history of Youngblood, one of the more underrated '80s sports movies ... KFC Australia had to take down a NSFW tweet ... The 10 most disappointing movies of 2016 (so far).
