Trump's baseball career not that great
Don Trump was not a very great baseball player, according to his stats page on Baseball Reference.
In fact, he was just a .222 hitter for the Leesburg Packers in 1952 as a 19-year-old out of Emmaus, Pa. This Trump should not be confused for Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, who has no professional baseball experience despite reportedly being the captain of his high school team.
Don Trump played in 57 games and recorded 41 hits including three doubles, one triple and three home runs. Unfortunately, there is no information on whether he was a lefty or righty at the plate.
On the other hand, Gary Johnson at least made the majors in 2003.
