All-First Half Teams

Drew Brees :: AP

Can you believe that we're at the halfway point of the fantasy season? With most leagues ending in Week 15 or 16, I decided to go through and present to you my All-First Half Teams, based on what your players have and haven't done.

All-World Team

No matter how high you drafted them, you've been getting great value every time they step on the field.

QB Drew Brees, Saints
RB Adrian Peterson, Vikings
RB Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars
WR Andre Johnson, Texans
WR Reggie Wayne, Colts
TE Dallas Clark, Colts
K Stephen Gostkowski, Patriots
D/ST Eagles

All-Lottery Team

As in, if you were fortunate to draft them, you basically hit the jackpot.

QB Matt Schaub, Texans
RB Cedric Benson, Bengals
RB Ray Rice, Ravens
WR Steve Smith, Giants
WR Vincent Jackson, Chargers
TE Owen Daniels, Texans
K Lawrence Tynes, Giants
D/ST Broncos

All-Comeback Team

At some point it was questionable whether or not these players would ever be fantasy-worthy again. They've proven that they are.

QB Carson Palmer, Bengals
RB Ronnie Brown, Dolphins
RB Steven Jackson, Rams
WR Chad Ochocinco, Bengals
WR Marques Colston, Saints
TE Jeremy Shockey, Saints
K Lawrence Tynes, Giants
D/ST Patriots

All-Train Wreck Team

This could also have been called the All-What-were-you-thinking team, and in many cases, the All-I-told-you-so team

QB Trent Edwards, Bills
RB Larry Johnson, Chiefs
RB LaDainian Tomlinson, Chargers
WR Roy Williams, Cowboys
WR Terrell Owens, Bills
TE Anthony Fasano, Dolphins
K Rob Bironas, Titans
D/ST Titans

All-Plain Disappointing Team

They were supposed to be sure things, but instead they've performed well below your expectations.

QB Kurt Warner, Cardinals
RB Matt Forte, Bears
RB Marion Barber, Cowboys
WR Greg Jennings, Packers
WR Steve Smith, Panthers
TE Kevin Boss, Giants
K Jason Elam, Falcons
D/ST Bears

The All-Shockingly-Good Team

Not much stock, if any at all was put into their chances of being fantasy forces this year, but thus far they've been among the hottest trade targets and waiver wire pickups.

QB Joe Flacco, Ravens
RB Ahmad Bradshaw, Giants
RB Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers
WR Miles Austin, Cowboys
WR Mario Manningham, Giants
TE Vernon Davis, 49ers
K Matt Prater, Broncos
D/ST Saints

All-Stepping Up Team

You considered them solid at best during draft time, but these players have risen to near the top of their respective positions.

QB Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
RB Tim Hightower, Cardinals
RB Fred Jackson, Bills
WR Sidney Rice, Vikings
WR Mike Sims-Walker, Jaguars
TE Brent Celek, Eagles
K Nate Kaeding, Chargers
D/ST Bengals

All-Rookie Team

The transition to the NFL is a tough one and these first-year players have dealt best with the adjustment.

QB Mark Sanchez, Jets
RB Knowshon Moreno, Broncos
RB LeSean McCoy, Eagles
WR Percy Harvin, Vikings
WR Johnny Knox, Bears
TE Brandon Pettigrew, Lions
K Ryan Succop, Chiefs

All-Grey Beard Team

They're all oldies but have proven that they all still deserve to be around.

QB Brett Favre, Vikings
RB Thomas Jones, Jets
RB Willis McGahee, Ravens
WR Hines Ward, Steelers
WR Donald Driver, Packers
TE Tony Gonzalez, Falcons
K John Carney, Saints

All-Infirmary Team

This group spent (or will spend) as much time in the trainer's room and on the sidelines as in the game racking up fantasy points.

QB Donovan McNabb, Eagles
RB Leon Washington, Jets
RB Brian Westbrook, Eagles
WR Calvin Johnson, Lions
WR Anthony Gonzalez, Colts
TE Chris Cooley, Redskins
K Adam Vinateri, Colts
D/ST Steelers (i.e. Aaron Smith, Troy Polamalu)
