Pitcher

Corey Kluber, Indians (vs. Twins) — Kluber hasn't allowed more than three runs in a start in the second half. He was absolutely dominant in his last outing, throwing a complete game while allowing just one unearned run and five hits, fanning eight in a win over the White Sox. He pitched well in his last start against the Twins, allowing three runs and striking out eight batters in seven innings.

Infielder

Adrian Beltre, Rangers (vs. Angels, Cory Rasmus) — Beltre is hitting .370/.486/.519 with a homer and three RBI in nine games in September. In his last five games, he's 6-for-14 with a bomb, two RBI and five walks. He has also been a monster at home this year, slashing .373/.430/.576 with 10 homers, 12 doubles and 39 RBI in 244 plate appearances. Beltre is a strong play in daily fantasy leagues on Thursday.

Outfielder

Kole Calhoun, Angels (@ Rangers, Nick Martinez) — Calhoun has been on a tear over the last week. He's on a six-game hitting streak, during which he has gone 11-for-29 with three homers, two doubles, one triple and six RBI. Those three homers have come in his last three games, and he has absolutely loved hitting down in Texas this year. In nine games there, he's slashing .318/.348/.682 with three homers and five doubles.

Pitchers

Chris Sale, White Sox (vs. Athletics) — Sale has 54 strikeouts and allowed a total of nine runs in his last 39 innings, a stretch covering six starts.

Michael Pineda, Yankees (vs. Rays) — Pineda hasn't allowed more than two runs in any of his nine starts this year and shut out the Royals across seven innings in his last outing.

Infielders

Carlos Santana, Indians (vs. Twins, Kyle Gibson) — Santana has nine hits, including three homers and two doubles, in his last nine games.

Jose Abreu, White Sox (vs. A's, Scott Kazmir) — Abreu is in a bit of a slump, but he's slashing .347/.424/.620 with seven homers in 139 plate appearances.

Outfielders

Michael Brantley, Indians (vs. Twins, Kyle Gibson) — Brantley is 13-for-34 with a pair of doubles and four RBI in the month of September.

Andrew McCutchen, Pirates (@ Phillies, A.J. Burnett) — McCutchen is 14-for-39 with three homers and four RBI in his last nine games.
