We’ve been dealing with byes for a few weeks now, but Week 7 is the first one that will truly test your depth. The Packers, Bengals, Broncos and Bears are all on bye. By my count, those teams contribute two regular starting quarterbacks (Aaron Rodgers and Andy Dalton), four starting running backs (Eddie Lacy, Giovani Bernard, Jeremy Hill and Matt Forte), six starting wide receivers (Randall Cobb, James Jones, A.J. Green, Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and Alshon Jeffery) and two starting tight ends (Tyler Eifert and Martellus Bennett). That listing doesn’t include guys like Peyton Manning, Jay Cutler, Ronnie Hillman and Marvin Jones, all of whom could start more often than not in typical fantasy formats. In other words, it’s going to be a tough week across if you’re invested in one of the teams on bye. We’ll help you navigate the depleted landscape with our Week 7 rankings.
