An investigation into daily fantasy sports by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is now looking into include Yahoo's daily fantasy betting, according to The New York Times.

Yahoo expanded its season-long fantasy sports to include daily games in July. While DraftKings and FanDuel are the leading daily fantasy sports companies, many users consider Yahoo as the next best option.

New York’s attorney general has determined daily fantasy sites such as DraftKings and FanDuel qualify as illegal gambling and has ordered them to stop accepting bets from residents of the state. Schneiderman's office issued letters to FanDuel and DraftKings to halt gaming operations. A New York state court on Monday denied the two companies’ requests for temporary restraining orders. A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 25.
