Allen Lazard broke out as a secondary receiver target for Aaron Rodgers in 2019. But with new additions to the Packers offense, is he someone to target at his current draft position? SI’s Fantasy analysts Corey Parson and Frankie Taddeo weigh in.

The Green Bay Packers are starved for some help at the wide receiver position after Davante Adams. That help may be on the way with Allen Lazard. SI Fantasy analyst Matt De Lima extrapolated his totals over a 16-game season: 51 receptions for 694 yards and four touchdowns. That would have made him the WR47 in fantasy, which is 20 spots higher than where he is currently being drafted this season.

There’s a lot to like about Lazard from a scouting perspective. He’s 6-foot-5, 227 pounds, and runs a 4.55 40-yard dash. With the Packers spending no early draft capital on a wide receiver to pair up with Adams and Lazard, this is a tremendous opportunity for the third-year wide receiver to take off.For more on why Lazard is climbing up draft boards in 2020, be sure to check out SI Fantasy’s latest video.
