Tiger Woods Teeing Off on 1st Hole at Masters Tournament Was Full Dose of Nostalgia

"Fore please, now driving, Tiger Woods."
Those six words echoed throughout Augusta National at the 2024 Masters Tournament on Thursday and were followed by a rousing applause from those in attendance.
The 48-year-old Woods confidently strolled up to his golf ball. He then whacked it 272 yards down onto the fairway, a scene familiar to those in Augusta but one that wasn't a guarantee to happen in 2024 given the 15-time major winner's recent health issues.

. @TheMasters is the most magical sporting event I’ve ever been to for a lot of reasons — Tiger Woods teeing it up without a single phone in sight is near top of the list. No tech allowed, just one big shared experience that can only be described to everyone else. https://t.co/Kk0M1qOlDk

Even if it goes downhill that birdie on the first hole was flawless https://t.co/UrzncwbD16
