The Bag: Check out this (Puma) cat

Rickie Fowler, noted DJ and music producer Kygo collaborate on Puma Golf x Palm Tree Crew collection; Miura unveils matte black finish; Iconic Masters moment captured on tee

Color is at the heart of this edition of The Bag — gold, navy, yellow, green and even black looks stylish.

Puma — Palm Tree Crew Collection

PUMA GOLF: Palm Tree Crew
Rickie Fowler has long been known for his edgy and colorful look on the golf course, and that swagger is a welcomed vibe as spring nears and — hopefully — the pandemic subsides.

Now, Puma and Fowler, a brand ambassador for the apparel company, has collaborated with Norwegian DJ, song writer and record producer Kygo on the new Puma Golf x Palm Tree Crew collection. Palm Tree Crew is a tropical lifestyle brand co-founded by Kygo and is recognized by its golden palm tree logo.

"Golf is one of my favorite hobbies when I'm not touring or making music," Kygo said in a statement. "Rickie and I had wanted to team up with our brands and make something special that not only we could enjoy but our fans and supporters as well."

Fowler, 32, will be sporting the collection during the Players Championship, which he won in 2015.

What you need to know:
> The collection is wide ranging and includes shorts ($80) with the golf PTC logo and a printed $100 bill pattern on the pocket bags; shirts — polo ($85) and crew ($95); snapback caps ($35) and belt ($32); Proadapt shoes ($220, available in mid-April); and a PopTop Mini speaker ($50).
> The collaboration also includes a limited-edition Cobra Radspeed Palm Tree Crew driver that features a navy and gold colorway with the palm tree logo on the toe. It also comes with a Cobra x PTC headcover. In terms of specs, the driver can be ordered with a variety of shafts — Fujikura Speeder VII 661 (X and S flex) and 569 (R flex) — and a black and gold Lamkin Crossline Connect grip.

Miura — Black Matte Finish

MIURA: Black Matte Finish
Maybe it's just personal preference or a reminder of how bad-ass Black Panther is in his body armor, but there is something sleek about a matte black finish — frames, college football helmets ... and even golf clubs.

Miura continues to push the envelope in 2021. Weeks after launching its PI-401 player improvement irons, the Japanese club manufacturer rolls out a matte black finish for its irons and wedges.

What you need to know:
> Miura offers the matte black finish for the MB-101, TC-201, CB-301 and MC-501 irons, along with the forged K-Grind 2.0, milled wedge and Tour Wedge HB.
> A specialized quench, polish, quench (QPQ) manufacturing process is used on the clubs, which, as a result, does not lend them to being mass produced.
> The QPQ process also improvs the clubs' durability and groove life.

BreakingT — Yes Sir Shirt

BREAKINGT: Golf Collection
With less than a month until Masters week, T-shirt manufacturer BreakingT gets you into an Augusta frame of mind with a number of cleverly designed shirts — the best perhaps being a silhouette of Jack Nicklaus lifting his putter in 1986 with the words “Yes Sir!” next to his image.

Here's a refresher if that does not ring a bell.

What you need to know:
> The collection is not limited to Masters phrases and moments. There are numerous CaddyShack-themed shirts and nods to Tiger Woods and Bryson DeChambeau
> Shirts range in size from small to 3XL.
> Shirts retail for $28, but the website routinely has specials.
