PGA Championship Fantasy Draft: Our Experts Make Their Picks for Oak Hill

On the eve of the PGA Championship, the SI Golf team held a draft to select players for their 12-man rosters. See who went first, who went last and what order our experts think players should be drafted.

PGA Championship week is here, and to kick things off the SI Golf team gathered to stage its first-ever fantasy-style draft of players in the field. Each of our team's rosters has 12 players, and our pool's winner will be decided by total prize money earned for the event.

Here's our team in the order in which they made their picks:

Gabby Herzig, News Writer

John Pluym, Managing Editor

Jeff Ritter, Managing Editor

Alex Miceli, Staff Writer

John Schwarb, Senior Editor

Bob Harig, Staff Writer

Herzig won the draw for the first pick and went chalk with Scottie Scheffler. Pluym snapped up Masters winner Jon Rahm next, and Ritter took Rory McIlroy at No. 3. Miceli took a risk on Jordan Spieth with the fourth pick, while Schwarb and Harig grabbed Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele to finish Round 1.

Harig made Brooks Koepka the first pick of Round 2 and seventh overall. Max Homa, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau and Cam Young were next off the board.
