The deadline for the PGA Tour to reply to requests from players to play in the LIV Golf opener was last Tuesday and a hard line was drawn. Each and every request, an estimated 20 of them in total, were denied, meaning players who do compete in the Greg Norman-led venture could face repercussions should they seek to play future Tour events.
Brooks Koepka was a last minute WD from this week's Byron Nelson, so he will attempt to channel his major state of mind once again at Southern Hills where he'll chase a third Wanamaker trophy for his mantle.
