Michigan High School Football Team of the Week

Harbor Beach

Harbor Beach improved to 7-2 on the season with a 60-6 win against Memphis. This team was 4-2 a few weeks ago, and they needed to finish the season strong. They did exactly that, and this win was the cherry on top for Harbor Beach.

Chesaning

After starting the season 0-1, Chesaning rattled off five straight wins before coming into their matchup with Durand last week. Chesaning continued to impress with a 29-12 win, and they are playing their best football right now.

Heritage

Heritage had a massive game against Dow last week, and they dominated in every facet of the game. A 42-0 win improves Heritage’s record to 5-2, and they have now won three games in a row.

Portland

What a season it’s been for Portland. Their undefeated record was on the line last week against Charlotte, and it was another dominant win. Portland won 35-8, and they are now 7-0 on the year.

Portage Central

One of the biggest games of the week pitted Portage Northern against Portage Central, and Portage Central got the job done. It was a great game and it was close throughout, but Portage Central came out on top with a 32-22 win. They are now 6-1 and they have won five games in a row.

Kingsford

Kingsford continued to dominate this week with a 35-0 win over Westwood. That is the third win in a row for Kingsford and they are now 6-1. This team is going to be a very tough out every week.

Negaunee

Negaunee is another team that is on a hot streak. They had a big one against Menominee this past week and they pulled away for a 47-20 win. Another week, another impressive win for this team.

Fowler

Frankfort came into their matchup with Fowler with an undefeated record, but that perfect record is no more. Fowler absolutely dominated in this one and won 54-0. Great win.

Sexton

Sexton continues to look dominant as they won another big one last week. Eaton Rapids never had a chance in this one, and Sexton cruised to a 42-0 win to improve to 7-0 on the year.

Addison

Addison is another team that still has a perfect record, and they were up against Hanover-Horton last week with perfection on the line. They got the job done in a 42-8 victory, and Addison is now 8-0.
