The Minnesota (MSHSL) high school 2025 girls hockey state tournament continues with the Class 2A quarterfinals at the Xcel Energy Center.

High School on SI has live updates and recaps of all four Class 2A games to start the tournament. This page will be updated throughout the day as results go final.

Class 2A Quarterfinals

No. 7 Rosemount 3, No. 2 Centennial 2

The Irish killed 4-of-5 power plays as Centennial peppered Rosemount goalie Gianna Marchese with 35 shots on goal.

Annalee Holzer scored two goals for Rosemount as the Irish upset the No. 2-seed in the tournament.

No. 3 Hill-Murray 5, No. 6 Andover 3

Hill-Murray's Emily Pohl scored three goals as the Pioneers held off Andover's third-period comeback attempt.

No. 1 Edina 3, No. 8 Farmington 1

Farmington kept the Hornets from scoring for almost half the game, but Edina broke through when Cate McCoy scored.

Lorelai Nelson added a second for the Hornets in the third period, but Risch Taylor kept Farmington in the game with a power-play goal. McCoy added an empty-net goal for the Hornets in the final minutes.

Farmington goalie Addison Moudry saved 36 shots as Edina put 39 shots on goal to Farmington's eight.
