Kyuji Fujikawa's injury leaves Chicago without a true closer, as Carlos Marmol will not retake the role.

CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Cubs have put closer Kyuji Fujikawa on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right forearm and called up reliever Rafael Dolis from Triple-A Iowa on Saturday.

Shawn Camp and James Russell are possible closers for the Cubs (4-6). Manager Dale Sveum says he won't use Carlos Marmol, who has a 12.27 ERA.

Fujikawa (1-0, 12.46 ERA) says he felt discomfort in his forearm the last couple of days, but considers it a short-term injury. He says the injury has sidelined him for about 10 days in the past.

Chicago led 2-0 heading into the ninth, but Fujikawa allowed three runs and three hits before the Cubs rallied for a 4-3 victory Friday over the San Francisco Giants.

Dolis is 2-4 with a 6.18 ERA in 39 1-3 career innings in the majors.
