Anibal Sanchez left Saturday's game against the Twins after 2 2/3 innings with a blister on his right middle finger.
Sanchez had been cruising before the blister formed, holding the Twins hitless and striking out two. With two outs in the third and a full count on Brian Dozier, the Tigers dugout noticed something, and the trainer came out to check on Sanchez. The recently promoted Jose Ortega came on in relief.
