Tony Award-winning actress and singer Idina Menzel will perform the national anthem at baseball's All-Star Game, MLB announced Tuesday.

A veteran of such theater productions as Rent, Aida and Wicked, the latter of which saw her win the Tony for best performance by a leading actress in a musical, Menzel has most recently become known for voicing the character of Queen Elsa in the animated film Frozen and performing the popular song "Let It Go" from the movie.

Menzel also has a recurring role in the television show Glee.

This year's All-Star game is being held at Target Field in Minneapolis. In addition to the national anthem, Menzel will perform the Bob Dylan song "Forever Young" to honor the Minnesota native Dylan.

The anthem at last year's All-Star Game at Shea Stadium in New York was performed by Candice Glover.
