The Philadelphia Phillies have made Cole Hamels available on the trade market for a high price, and the Los Angeles Dodgers are interested, reports Jon Morosi of FOX Sports 1.

Last week it was reported that the Phillies were telling other teams that Hamels was not available. His name has been linked to trade rumors as the July 31 deadline approaches, but according to Morosi it will still likely take a very valuable trade offer for Philly to move him.

The Dodgers have also been linked to Rays pitcher David Price and Red Sox pitcherJon Lester as the team looks to shore up its rotation

Hamels is 5-5 with a 2.72 ERA and 9.2 strikeouts per nine innings in 2014. The 30-year old has spent his entire career with the Phillies.

More: As deadline approaches, tough questions remain

Philadelphia remains in last place in the NL East with a 46-59 record as of July 27. The Dodgers are in first place by a game and a half in the NL West.
