Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera exited early vs. the White Sox on Saturday night after appearing to reaggravate a lingering injury to his right ankle.

The injury occurred in the second half of a doubleheader. The Tigers lost the first game 6-3 and wrap up the series on Sunday.

Cabrera, 31, a nine-time All-Star, appeared to be in pain during a groundout in the top of the fourth inning of the second game. He did not return for the bottom of the inning.

The reigning two-time American League Most Valuable Player is currently batting .308 with 17 homers and 87 RBI.  He has been limping for weeks and reaggravated the ankle last week vs. the Rays.
