The 39-year-old, who is fifth all time with 654 career home runs, is expected to be at spring training next season, Yankees team president Randy Levine recently said in an interview on Bloomberg TV.

Rodriguez reportedly bought actress Meryl Streep's Hollywood Hills West home last week.

A 14-time All-Star and three-time AL MVP, Rodriguez hit only .244 with seven home runs and 19 RBIs in 44 games last season. He is owed $61 million over the next three years.
