Giants OF Angel Pagan reportedly targeting Friday return

Giants outfielder Angel Pagan, who missed the entire three-game series vs. the Diamondbacks this week with back issues, is targeting a return Friday when the team kicks off another away-series against the Padres, according to Andrew Baggarly of CSN Bay Area on Wednesday night.
It's been an injury-plagued season for the 33-year-old, who missed a chunk of the summer with more chronic back problems -- specifically a bulging disc.

Despite not being 100 percent, he's played well when able, hitting .302 with three home runs, 27 RBI and 15 stolen bases in 95 games.
The Giants are second in the NL West heading into their stint on the road against San Diego on Friday.
Good news on Pagan's MRI, Bochy said. Came back clean, Pagan much improved and feels he can play Friday.
