Four minor-league players have been suspended for violating baseball's drug policy, MLB announced Wednesday. 

Free-agent pitcher Ray Hanson, who spent part of last season in the Angels' system, was suspended 80 games after testing positive for a banned diuretic.

Tyler Palmer, a shortstop who played for the Yankees' Gulf Coast League affiliate in 2014, tested positive for Amphetamine and received a 50-game ban.

Diamondbacks minor league pitcher Felipe Perez was suspended 50 games for a second positive test, while Kevin Ross, a first baseman in the Pirates' organization, received the same punishment. 

According to the Associated Press, 22 players have been suspended this year under the minor league drug policy.
