What's on deck today at spring training

What to watch for today at spring training:

Shortstop Jose Iglesias is set to play one inning when Detroit hosts Florida Southern. He missed all of last season because of stress fractures in both legs. Iglesias hit a combined .303 for Boston and the Tigers in 2013.

We'll hear if Alex Rodriguez is scheduled to play for the New York Yankees in their exhibition opener Tuesday vs. Philadelphia. Manager Joe Girardi said he'll make the announcement Monday. A-Rod was suspended last year for violations that included drugs.

Lefty Brad Hand gets the start when the Marlins host Florida International. He's pitched in the majors for parts of the previous four seasons. Miami's regulars aren't expected to play.

Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey and lefty Mark Buehrle are scheduled to pitch one inning each for Toronto in an intrasquad game.
