PITTSBURGH (AP) The Milwaukee Brewers have traded minor league first baseman Hunter Morris to the Pittsburgh Pirates for a player to be named.

The Pirates announced the deal Thursday for the Brewers' fourth-round pick from the 2010 draft.

The 26-year-old Morris hit .279 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs in Triple-A last season.

He is 3 for 13 in spring training this year with four strikeouts.
