Drew entered the game for Brett Gardner, who was hit by a pitch in the first inning. MLB.com Yankees beat writer Bryan Hoch announced that Garner left the game with a stiff right wrist, but X-rays came back negative.
The teams play the second game in the series on Tuesday night.
