Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes is expected to return to the lineup on Monday for the first game of a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox, reports TSN's Scott MacArthur.

Reyes was placed on the 15-day disabled list in late April after sustaining a cracked rib earlier that month. Reyes played three games with Triple-A affiliate Buffalo.

In 16 games before being sidelined with the injury, Reyes was batting .250 with zero home runs, seven RBIs and a .266 on-base percentage. Reyes, 31, is in his third season with the Blue Jays.

Toronto currently sits in last place in the American League East with a record of 20-26.
