Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon hit a three-run inside-the-park home-run on Tuesday to help his team defeat the San Francisco Giants 5–3.

Gordon came up to bat in the bottom of the second inning with runners on second and third and two outs. He lined a pitch off Ryan Vogelsong to the gap in rightcenter and was able to touch all the bases and beat the throw home.

It was the first home run of the season for Gordon and only the fifth of his five-year career. It was his first home run since June 14, 2014 and the first-ever inside-the-park home run at Marlins Park.

The speedy Gordon has 26 stolen bases on the season and led MLB last year with 64. He's hitting .351 this season with 20 RBIs and a .370 on-base percentage.
