What if Twitter decided the MLB All-Star Game lineups?

If Twitter mentions determined the MLB All-Star Game lineups, players such as Alex RodriguezHanley Ramirez, Pablo Sandoval and Masahiro Tanaka would be taking the field for Tuesday’s game.

Those results are from data released on Monday by Twitter, which has tracked mentions of MLB players since Opening Night on April 5.

Among the actual All-Stars who also made Twitter’s lineup are Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, Bryce Harper, Giancarlo Stanton (though he will miss the game due to injury), Kris Bryant, Joe Panik, Adrian Gonzalez and Clayton Kershaw.

The All-Star Game will be played Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Cincinnati Reds’ Great American Ball Park. The Home Run Derby is set for Monday at 8 p.m., despite the heavy rain forecasted.
