• The Miami Marlins have shown interest in acquiring pitcher Ivan Nova in a trade with the New York Yankees, reports Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.

• The Cincinnati Reds are interested in reuniting with pitcher Bronson Arroyo, reports MLB.com’s Mark Sheldon.

• Free-agent pitcher Cliff Lee would need a “perfect fit” to make an MLB comeback this season, agent Darek Braunecker said. Lee is recovering from a flexor tendon tear.
