During Rice’s 4–2 loss to Louisiana-Lafayette on Sunday night, senior pitcher Blake Fox pulled off a pickoff move that, while unsuccessful, was rather impressive.

With a runner on first, the lefthander stepped off the rubber, and while using his right hand to wipe his brow he ditched his glove and fired the ball over to try for a pickoff.

The runner got in safely, but the degree of difficulty on this move makes it worth watching.
