As MLB begins its annual celebration of Jackie Robinson’s contributions to the baseball and the progression of American culture, players are chiming in around the internet.

Players expressed their gratitude, appreciation and understanding of Robinson’s significance. Teams are set to don No. 42 jerseys for Friday’s games.
