The Minnesota Twins are set to call up top pitching prospect Jose Berrios, according to LaVelle E. Neal III of the Minnesota Star-Tribune.

Berrios is expected to make his major league debut on Wednesday against the Cleveland Indians.

Ervin Santana is expected to be sent to the disabled list with a back injury, and fellow starter Tyler Duffey is also considered day-to-day with a shoulder injury.

Berrios has a 1.06 ERA with 20 strikeouts and just eight hits allowed in 17 innings of Triple A action this season. Twins general manager Terry Ryan was in attendance for Berrios’s start last week, when he pitched seven innings and allowed just two hits with seven strikeouts.
