The Texas Rangers and the city of Arlington will announce plans for a new retractable-roof stadium stadium, according to the Dallas Morning News.

It is not clear when the stadium would be slated to be finished, but the team could make the plan official as early as friday.

The Rangers currently play in Globe Life Park, where they have a lease through the 2023 season.

The team has called Globe Life home since the stadium opened in 1994. The stadium is currently the seventh largest in the MLB in terms of capacity.

Neither the team or the Arlington officials confirmed the report.
