Yasiel Puig and Jared Goff made amends in person on Monday after a Twitter incident from 2013.

Goff, a San Francisco Giants fan who tweeted that Puig should get “a fastball in his ribs” after he hit a walk-off home run against the Reds on July 28, 2013, was seen chatting with Puig on Monday before the Dodgers’ game against the Rockies. During the encounter, Puig also gave the NFL rookie a t-shirt that reads, “#PUIGMYFRIEND.”

When Goff was drafted by the Rams with the No. 1 pick in April, Puig showed no hard feelings toward the signalcaller and welcomed him to LA, while also suggesting that Goff be his guest at a future Dodgers games.

Goff responded to Puig’s tweets favorably, and took him up on his offer Monday.
