Yasiel Puig and Jared Goff made amends in person on Monday after a Twitter incident from 2013.
Goff, a San Francisco Giants fan who tweeted that Puig should get “a fastball in his ribs” after he hit a walk-off home run against the Reds on July 28, 2013, was seen chatting with Puig on Monday before the Dodgers’ game against the Rockies. During the encounter, Puig also gave the NFL rookie a t-shirt that reads, “#PUIGMYFRIEND.”
