So far this season, we’ve seen Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon hit his first career home run, rip a single at 108.4 mph, and make an incredible basket catch.

We’ve got one more for the highlight reel now.

During the bottom of the third inning of New York’s game against the Pirates on Thursday, Colon went the other way, into the right-centerfield gap, for a double. Any other player might have legged out a triple with such a hit, but Colon was content with two bags.

He moved over on a bloop single, and scored on a sacrifice fly a couple batters later. It took a fly ball all the way to the warning track.
