Orioles' Jimenez hit in leg by grounder, leaves game vs. A'

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) Baltimore Orioles pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez left Friday night's game against the Oakland Athletics in the bottom of the sixth inning after getting hit in the lower right leg with a hard grounder off the bat of Chad Pinder.

Pinder beat the play out for an infield hit.

Jimenez pitched 5 1/3 innings of six-hit ball. He struck out a season-high 11, eight of which came in the first three innings.
