Star Studded Coaching Staff Coming Together for Angels and New Manager Ron Washington

In this story:
With the MLB free agency set to begin soon, the Los Angeles Angels made a splash this week by signing former Braves third base coach and former Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington to a two-year deal as the team's manager.
Washington will now manage a team for the first time since 2014, which is also the last time the Angels made the postseason.
While he is still working out the kinks and assembling his coaching staff for the 2024 season, there have already been some rumors on who will be joining him on his staff.
According to Bob Nightengale from USA Today, Washington's staff is supposedly going to feature names like Chili Davis, Torii Hunter, Erick Young Sr. Clint Hurdle, and Ryan Goins, a diverse staff that would feature three black coaches.
This group would also be great for the Angels clubhouse as it would bring in a variety of players who have played and coached in different eras of baseball and would bring a variety of influences.
Ron Washington, the first Black manager hired in 3 years, also plans to have a star-studded diverse coaching staff:

While it still remains unknown on who Washington will actually feature on his staff, it was confirmed today by former MLB catcher A.J. Pierzynski of the Foul Territory podcast that Hunter will not actually become the first base coach of the Angels next year.
Hunter did confirm with Pierzynski that he did interview for the manager job but thinks he wouldn't be a good fit as a coach than a manager because he would rather mentor and help players.
Washington is set to become the fourth manager of the Angels over the past five years and will be the first black manager in franchise history.
