Old Foe Powers Twins Past Houston Astros in Dominating Fashion

In this story:
If Sunday night proved one things it's that the Minnesota Twins will not be a cakewalk for the Houston Astros in the American League Divisional Series.
While the Twins were the weakest team on paper coming into the postseason, they were still able to achieve a dominating 6-2 victory to even the series against the reigning World Series champions on Sunday at Minute Maid Park.
But that domination was in large part due to former Astros fan-favorite Carlos Correa who now mans the middle infield for Minnesota.
On Sunday, Correa 3-for-4 with two doubles, a single, and a walk. This all comes on the heels of a down season after signing an odd offseason that eventually saw him sign a six-year, $200 million deal with the Twins after two failed deals.
But Correa has always been known for his October heroics. It's a bit poetic that the Astros are now getting to see it up close again, but this time from the other dugout.
Despite Houston fans wishing Correa good luck, there is no actual desire to see him succeed in this series, especially not in the fashion he did on Sunday.
It's players like Correa who can de-rail a team trying to take another run at a World Series, even a team as talented as the Astros.
There was always a fear when Houston opted not to re-sign Correa that the decision could come back to haunt them.
They just never expected it could happen in the postseason in this fashion.
While the series is tied, a level of concern must be hard for the Twins on Houston's part. Correa is red hot and Minnesota is performing.
Welcome to October baseball.
