Watch: Jared Hoying on Re-discovering a Love of Baseball During COVID-19

Hoying worked out with his local high school team, took batting practice from his dad, and re-focused himself on the game of baseball.

Before he signed a minor-league deal with the Blue Jays on May 30, Jared Hoying dealt with a good deal of adversity.

Hoying was released from the KBO's Hanwha Eagles during the COVID-19 pandemic, and was at a real loss for motivation, until he started to "have fun" playing baseball again.
