WATCH: Michael Harris is raking while wearing superhero headbands

Since June 7th, Braves outfielder Michael Harris is batting .425 and is showing why he won NL Rookie of the Year a season ago after a slow start to 2023.

He's riding the momentum by wearing superhero headbands. Lauren Jbara of Bally Sports reported on the fun topic during their broadcast of the third game against the Minnesota Twins.

"Well, I actually put that on my trainer to be able to choose (the headband)," Jbara said, quoting Harris during her report.

Last week he wore a Black Panther-themed headband. Now he's been wearing a Spiderman-themed headband.

He's playing like a superhero right now. Probably safe to assume that Spiderman is wearing a Michael Harris headband these days as well.

Pitching Matchup for the Atlanta Braves and Minnesota Twins on Wednesday, June 28th

As we mentioned earlier, Atlanta's sending Kolby Allard to the mound. Working in AAA Gwinnett after returning from his oblique injury, he's officially thrown to a 2.70 ERA in his six and two-thirds innings, walking two and striking out eight. This will be his first big league start for Atlanta since 2018

Opposing Atlanta is RHP Kenta Maeda. The veteran is 1-4 with a 6.86 ERA across five starts. Dealing with injuries, he's pitched only twenty-one innings this season, with twenty-two strikeouts to five walks. The Braves roster don't have a ton of at-bats or success against Maeda, with one notable exception: Matt Olson is 3-4 with two homeruns and three RBIs.
