The Atlanta Braves swept the Cincinnati Reds for the first time since April of 2014, and all three outcomes were decided by one run. Props to Atlanta for finding a way to win all three closely contested games and bounce back from a poor showing in the final three games against the San Diego Padres.

Ronald Acuña Jr. is unreal right now

Ronald Acuña Jr. is doing it all so far this season. The Atlanta Braves tweeted out a graphic of all of the players that have 20 hits and five stolen bases so far. Acuña Jr. is the only player in all of baseball with that feat.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Acuña Jr. is the favorite to win the National League MVP with +500 odds. Second is Juan Soto (the preseason favorite) at +900.

Orlando Arcia left last night's action after taking a pitch to the wrist. Braves Today's Andrew Stefaniak wrote about it in the takeaways.

Orlando Arcia took a 98mph fastball off the wrist in this ball game and later exited the contest. The word from the Braves official social media pages was that the X-rays were negative, which is a good sign, but things like bone bruises can lead to IL stints. With the injuries the Braves have already sustained this season, losing Arcia would be tragic. Hopefully, Arcia avoids the IL, but we will find out soon enough how he is feeling and if there is any swelling.
