Braves Briefing: Another historic mark is close for this Atlanta offense

The Atlanta Braves keep setting new standards on offense. With Ozzie Albies and Ronald Acuña Jr. close to reaching the 30-home run mark, the Braves are close to having five guys hit that mark in the same season.

MLB.com zoomed in on milestones that teams are close to reaching, here's what Mark Bowman wrote about Atlanta:

Matt Olson, Austin Riley and Marcell Ozuna have already hit the 30-homer mark. Ronald Acuña Jr. (29) and Ozzie Albies (28) could join this group very soon. So, it looks like the Braves will join the 2019 Twins as the only teams with five players who hit 30-plus homers in the same season. Eddie Rosario, who was one of the 2019 Twins, and Sean Murphy, both sitting at 20, also have a chance to make the Braves the first team with seven players to hit at least 25 in the same season, breaking the record of six by those Twins and the 2003 Red Sox. -- Mark Bowman

Daniel Locke shared his takeaways during last night's 7-3 win over Colorado. He highlighted Michael Harris' series.

Center fielder Michael Harris II is having a solid season and Coors Field was especially good to him.
In game one, Harris put together a 2-4 night and scored twice. In the second game, Harris went 3-4. The final game was relatively quiet for Harris, but he went 1-4 and picked up an RBI off an infield single in the sixth inning.

What's next?

The Braves take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in a crucial series for National League playoff position, with home-field advantage for the postseason potentially being on the line.

First pitch at Dodger Stadium is set for 10:10 p.m. ET/9:10 p.m. CT and will be televised on Bally Sports South throughout Braves Country and nationally on MLB.tv. The radio broadcast can be heard in the Atlanta metro area on 680 The Fan, across the Southeast on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network and nationally on MLB.tv.
