Lineup, how to watch Saturday's game two versus the Baltimore Orioles

Atlanta looks to even the series against the Birds behind the dynamic right arm of Spencer Strider

Lineup, how to watch Saturday's game two versus the Baltimore Orioles

Atlanta dropped a frustrating series opener against the Baltimore Orioles last night, continuing the most surprising statistical trend of the season: The Orioles have won every single series opener they've played in.

The Birds followed their blueprint to perfection: Wear out your starting pitcher (they tagged Max Fried for eight hits and seven runs, five earned, in his six innings) and hand a lead over to their dominant bullpen (which got popped by Atlanta for three runs but shut Atlanta down in the 8th and 9th to seal the win).

Atlanta's got another favorable starting pitcher matchup tonight as they try to even the series up at one game each.

Lineup

Here's how the Braves will line up for the contest:

Centerfielder Michael Harris returns to the lineup, batting 8th. He's joined in the lineup by Vaughn Grissom, who got a night off for the debut of prospect Braden Shewmake. Grissom's batting ninth and manning shortstop. Eddie Rosario is back in left field, with Marcell Ozuna reprising his role at DH, batting 7th.

Pitching Matchup

On the bump for Atlanta is Spencer Strider. The righty is Atlanta's most consistent starter this year, with a 4-0 record and a 2.57 ERA in his six starts. He just recently saw his Atlanta record streak of nine consecutive starts with at least nine strikeouts end against New York, where he struck out "only" eight Mets batters on route to a 9-8 Braves win on Monday, May 1st. He's never faced the Baltimore Orioles in his short career, although catcher James McCann (traded from the Mets to Baltimore this spring) is 0-2 lifetime against him.

Facing off against Atlanta is Kyle Bradish. The veteran is 1-1 this season in his four starts with a 6.14 ERA in 14.2 innings, with a win over the Nationals and a loss versus the Red Sox. He's never faced the Braves and none of the current players have any career stats against him.

How to Watch

Today's game two is a 7:10 ET first pitch. The game will be a national broadcast on FOX. The radio call, with Ben Ingram, is available locally on WIFN 1340 AM/103.7FM or outside the Atlanta market on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network or MLB.com.
