Chicago Cubs Faithful Hoping for Blockbuster Trade with Mariners

In this story:
The recent run of winning baseball for the Chicago Cubs has completely flipped the outlook on the season.
They went from surefire sellers at the deadline to now being potential buyers.
Entering Monday, the Cubs are four games out of first place in the NL Central and are three-and-a-half games back for the last Wild Card spot.
With Cody Bellinger and Marcus Stroman being pulled off the trade market, fans are now hoping they can land some starts of their own to help Chicago get into the playoffs for the first time since 2020.
MLB Insider Jon Morosi tweeted that the Seattle Mariners are now listening to offers on their stars Ty France and Teoscar Hernandez.
Sports blogger Aldo Soto asked his Cubs' fans on Twitter if they were interested in trading for France.
Ty France trade option for Cubs.

Almost 70-percent of his respondents voted that they would like Chicago to be aggressive and add the first baseman. If that poll is indicative of the majority of the fan base, then plenty of people want them to buy before the trade deadline.
In return, the Mariners want young bats.
The Cubs have plenty of young hitters to offer in return. Six out of their 10 best prospects are position players according to MLB.com. Their best trade piece Kevin Alcantara could generate a lot of interest on the market as well.
Getting one of these players could help Chicago push into the playoffs. Getting both of them would almost guarantee that they are in the playoff race until the very end of the season.
