Diamondbacks at Angels Game Preview June 30

In this story:
The Diamondbacks (48-34) start a three game series in Anaheim tonight against the Angels (44-39), first pitch is 6:38. This game is being broadcast on AppleTV+
Earlier today in the series preview we reviewed the pitching matchup, Tommy Henry against Griffin Canning. You can read more at that link. Here are the stats for the tonight's starters.
Lineups
Torey Lovullo Notes:
Corbin Carroll is out of the lineup tonight, and is still considered day-to-day with a sore shoulder, per Torey Lovullo. The manager said he was feeling good and said it was a possibility he could play tomorrow, but they are still checking him out day by day. Carroll does not require imaging.
Merrill Kelly threw out to 120 feet today. It's still unknown when he will have his second ultrasound but Lovullo said he could "tolerate a bullpen tomorrow". Kelly had originally said he'd prefer to have a second ultrasound before throwing a bullpen session.
Pavin Smith send out to Triple-A Reno: "He just looked like he was battling some confidence and the ability to make swing adjustments in the box. He was getting pitched to on a level that wasn't him. Pavin can hit. he's a good hitter, he's good bat to ball, he knows the strike zone as good as anybody we have. I just believe he was giving away too many at bats by swinging at pitches not in the zone"
Lovullo emphasized that it's up to the player to go down and fix his problems and earn his way back on the roster.
Brandon Pfaadt's fastball was improved by the main issue were the secondary stuff getting banged around.
The Fletcher brothers Dominic and David getting to play each other: "I think there was some divine intervention somewhere along the way." (Their father passed away on June 12th.).
Upcoming Rotation Order
Drey Jameson will not revert back to starting. He will remain in the bullpen. This despite an opening coming up late next week. The latest they will definitely need a fifth starter is July 8th. They are still reviewing their options.
Zac Gallen could potentially be moved up to start July 7th, or if they keep the rotation order he could be moved to the 8th. If it were the 8th, that would only be three days rest before the All-Star game. Availability to pitch in the All-Star game would not be a consideration for Lovullo in setting up his rotation order.
Angels Moves
Anthony Rendon was activated from the 10-day injured list and is playing third base, batting cleanup. Former Diamondback Jake Lamb was DFA'd to make room.
